The chamber, which can accommodate up to 16 patients at once, can be pressurized to simulate conditions of up to 150 feet below sea level to treat illnesses such as decompression sickness, carbon monoxide poisoning, and the adverse affects of radiation. The hyperbaric chamber is 46 feet long and about the size of a Boeing 737 at its core.
